Image submission information.

Format of Artwork imagery & Submission:

  1. artwork must only be submitted in a JPEG format in respect to Still images

  1. due to the family viewership & nature of Our Website: www.artworkxofmann.com – WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PORNAGRAPHIC, ABUSIVE, DEFAMMATORY, ILLEGAL, INSULTING BEHAVOURIALLY THEMED, OR OTHERWISE SUBJECT MATTER DEEMED NON COMPLIANT WITH THE IDEALS OF THE COMPANY – MANAGING DIRECTOR’S DECISION ON THIS MATTER IS FINAL AND NOT SUBJECT TO QUESTION OR CONTRADICTION (FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CONTRACT)

  1. Video footage may be subject matter may be sent either via DVD/CD-ROM/Media stick or other recognised forms of delivery to our postal address: PO Box 375, Regent Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, British Isles, IM99 2UF.

  1. Only recognised/UK acceptable forms of video delivery will/may be accepted for inclusion and addition to our website eg: MPEG, DVD disc, etc...

  1. artwork can be submitted as an embed coded image from Youtube ( ONLY when this image or images are solely owned by the artist/s concerned.

  1. artwork still imagery MUST be at least 1750 Pixels in length (See below)

Portrait style = EG: 1750 X 899 pixels

 

Landscape Style = EG: 899 X 1750 Pixels

  1. Artwork still imagery MUST be clear images. We recommend using a digital camera of at least 5MP or higher/Larger quality when shooting your work.

  1. Images which are unclear or unsuitable nature or content may not be included or added to our website (See clause ii)

  1. All images submitted MUST be solely owned by the artist/person/s who submit them or in the case of an agent done so with the written permission of the owner/s or artist/s concerned – It is desirable that, when & wherever possible that, evidence of this fact is shown at the time of submission or at the earliest possible moment or opportunity thereafter that, by at the very least sending an email confirmation from the owner....which clearly states that, the imagery submission is / has been made at their behest or with the knowledge and full agreement &/or authorisation.

  1. Each still image should always as a rule of thumb, be sent at the highest possible resolution size & quality to ensure maximum effect when added to our website. All artwork MUST be resized & branded visually & digitally by our technical team and this should ensure a high level of copyright security. It does not, nor do we claim it to be foolproof and neither do we, nor will we accept liability for any copyright downloads or breaches of any artists works.

  1. Please note: All artwork submitted is owned by the artists always, but it is understood that, by the act of submission you are automatically allowing the Company the possible use of these images for publicity of both the artist and their work and also by this nature so to, publicising the Company or Agency associated with these images.

  1. Pease note: Further information about the use of the images submitted is/will be defined in your Artists contract or agreement.

When submitting your Artwork to us you should

always include the following:

  1. Title of the piece

  2. Cost – how much you price this piece at?

  3. Actual size of the original without its frame, where applicable (Not the JPEG image)

  1. Details about the work, such as...

    1. Which year was it created by you?

    2. What gave you the idea to create it?

    3. What is the medium

    4. Have you exhibited it previously? If so, where?

    5. Has it ever been used in any form of publicity either your own or a business? If so, give details?

      PLEASE ENSURE THAT, ALL YOUR ARTWORK HAS BEEN FULLY UPLOADED...BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION APPLICATION.
