Born in 1975, Douglas, Isle of Man, British Isles.
Faye is passionate about her Art and takes delight in colour. Like all true Artists, she finds the act of creation to be personal and have a calming effect on the soul.
Faye initially worked in Watercolours, but changed to Oil Pastel as they afforded her a better degree of colour vibrancy & intensity.
Education & Experience:
In 1996, Faye completed her first degree in Fashion & Textiles from De Montfort University. After University she worked in Nottingham, England for a time as an Interior Designer.
In 1999, she returned to the Island, where she now lives with her Partner and daughter.
She is currently a member of the Isle of Man Arts Society and has contributed to joint & Group exhibitions both on and off Island. Since our first live Charity Art Exhibiton in June 2010. Faye has been working on some new pieces which we hope will go into her solo show towards the end of this year. Her unique artistic style has sparked much interest of late. We believe she could soon be one of the rising stars of the Arts & crafts movement currently increasing on the island and within the British Isles generally.
